Discovered Quantower recently, and really like them a lot, they have what for me is the absolutely best chart based entry I've ever had.
Click on the mouse symbol, go to your chart, select where you want to enter, and just left click on the green buy stop above market, red sell limit above market, and you're in. Vice versa for below market.
What is driving me absolutely nuts however is that my TP and SL bracket order settings just simply are NOT saving lol !
I've tried saving them as default order entry, or as a template, to no avail.
When I try to enter my next order, my preset and saved TP and SL have magically disappeared again.
Anyone have an idea how to get this to work ?
Also I don't want the confirmation window popping up every time I put on a trade.
(Although its good for now because its showing me that my bracket order is not saving at this time lol !)
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I sent therm an email, they logged on via remote access, and with lightning speed and quite a few clicks thru various menus, so that I could never replicate what they did haha, set everything up just the way I wanted it.
Just in case someone else has the same issue, musta been slightly blond but finally figured out what they did:
Chart settings (Top left hand of chart three lines)
=> Visual Trading => UNCLICK "Trade through Order Entry"
And you're set, with the bracket orders you've input on the order entry tab materialising when you point your mouse to where you want an order entry.
Click on Mouse trader, above the market you get two options on the chart, on the left a green buy stop, on the right a red sell limit, left click at the level you want your order and you have the buy stop in place, right click on your mouse and the sell limit is in place.
And if sthg changes regarding where you want your orders, you can move them up or down with your mouse.
The BY FAR best platform I've ever had.
Everything extremely intuitive. (Once Mouse trader was activated haha)
Scrolling doesn't need a degree in computer science, you don't have to right click on the chart and stare at two dozen options, buried in the midst of which are buys and sells, and hoping in the heat of the moment you hit the right one etc...
