Good read from FT Last week’s Odd Lots podcast — hosted by Bloombergers Tracy Alloway (formerly of this parish) and Joe Weisenthal — proved that an hour of Liz Truss in your ear is not everyone’s cup of tea. But we loved it for the insight it provides into the mind of our former prime minister. We know Truss has long held senior Bank officials responsible for her record-breaking defenestration. Such grand crimes require motive, opportunity and means. Can we divine Truss’s thinking on these three fronts? Working backwards through the podcast, we can try.
