Based upon the article it looks like there targeting people who have Schedule C expenses, Schedule D gains, or Form 4797 trading income on their Federal returns.

Not sure. Based upon the article it looks like there targeting people who have Schedule C expenses, Schedule D gains, or Form 4797 trading income on their Federal returns.

Which falls under businesses and TTS traders only. Looks like not a big deal for retail but could be sizeable for large firms.
