Can anyone tell me what is so good about Ninja Trader?

I don't have positive things to say about NinjaTrader after Kraken bought them. No dealbreakers yet, but I'm worried there will be a deterioration down the line. The writing was on the walls, imo, when they ditched the forum and basically let the customers figure it out amongst themselves. They just dropped that anvil, you know. That's not a sign of good things to come. There's speculation that Kraken bought NinjaTrader for the regulatory licenses, etc. and possibly don't give two ducks about NinjaTrader as a platform.

However, there's an important concept: do NOT have a SINGLE POINT OF FAILURE

This is easy to fix especially today. Make sure you have the NinjaTrader app installed and logged in on your cell phone. This way, if an emergency is on your end, like a power failure or internet connection, you can quickly manage your positions without having talk to a person.
