There are 2 classics that everyone should have:
The General Theory of Employment, Interest, and Money - John Maynard Keynes
The Wealth of Nations - Adam Smith

They serve as good models for more advanced macro policies .

The wealth of nations arrived today.

Wow, I didn't realize it was first written in 1776!

Mine is autographed as well, and it is in German - I mean the book, not the autograph.

How could this guy sign something that he did not fully understand?

This tells me not to believe in everything that has been written....
