A few days ago I asked whether anyone knew how to access clipboard content from within an indicator's code, and got an effective response from monpere:

using System.Windows.Forms;
...
if (Clipboard.ContainsText (TextDataFormat.Text)) {
string str=Clipboard.GetText(TextDataFormat.Text);
}

This works, and I quote it here for reader's convenience.

Now I wonder if anyone knows how to trigger, or in some way cause, a chart to paste into itself the contents of the clipboard from an indicator's code.

I am also curious if indicator code can be used to select a drawing object placed there by hand, and then copy it to the clipboard. But mostly I'd like to know if I can get the contents of the clipboard pasted into the chart from indicator code.

Thanks in advance,
Tempo
