Does anyone have an RSI indicator where you can plot a moving average of RSI, specifically a SMA and WMA? If not any ideas on how tough that might be to code.

Thanks,
Blz

Nevermind: I figured it out and built the indicator myself. It's actually two indi's, not the most efficient but it works.

Hey Blz,

I've got one that has SMA that could be easily changed in the code to WMA. I don't have a basic one with selectable inputs. Still learning how to do that.

HTH,

Kirk

On NT7 you can apply indicators to indicators..eg moving average of the CCI or the RSI...we just have to wait and see how it works.....ST

Hello,

I have attempted several times to do this on my own. I am trying to create a moving average of the ADX. I've searched several forums thinking it is probably simple, but that's probably why I cannot find it.

I would like to plot the ADX (not the DMI's), and the moving average of the ADX. Attached is what I have come up with so far.

At first, I was able to get the Moving Average to plot correctly, but then I did something and now it is all messed up and does not plot properly. It also does not plot the ADX line.

Would someone be kind enough to show me what I have done wrong?

Thank you,
Evelyn

PS: How do I convert this to a zip file to post it here?

As mentioned before, you can apply an indicator on indicator in NT7. So if you want to put a SMA on ADX, attach the ADX on the chart first, then put the SMA on the same chart but in the Input Series, make sure you select ADX under Indicators to apply the SMA on ADX. Finally, be sure that the SMA on ADX is in the same panel of ADX (i.e. panel 2).

Holymouse:

I feel SO silly!

I searched and searched the posts, forums and Help files but could not find the code for what I was trying to do. "Input Series" is something I have used in the past, but only for the H,L,C, etc. of the underlying symbol....... I never noticed the option to choose "Indicators." I'm embarrassed!

Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction.

Ev
