Heres how I set up my AYN chart for todays NQ 1597 tick . I didnt trade it but it pointed out some nice shorts with reasonable stops above recent highs . The long even had a small profit on it .
Panel 2 is set at 20,40 period 14 . I used that to determinethe trend and its strength , brighter = stronger . The paint bar is 30,60 period 4 to show retracements and continuation and their strength . I added a 9 sma and see that the better trigger bars at least touch it or the candle before it does before taking off . If the trigger candle or the one before it doesnt at least touch the 9 sma I would pass on that entry . This strategy could work , set up a longer timeframe to monitor major S/R levels and plan where you want to see signals and go for it when price gets there .
BTW I attached the template in my last post , hope all can benefit from it and share suggestions .
the only problem i have when i look at this is sometims one of the moving averages the faster one changes colors until it decides what direction it wants to go i know we have been over this before but any suggestions on how to rezolve this?...sharky
Drop Rjay an email. He's the one that figured out the 'repainting' issue with the indicators I had adapted into BAR form at the bottom of my Holy Grail charts.
