This is my thread for the "Teaching A Trading Method" contest.
I am still learning, so this is my attempt to (1) Keep things simple, (2) Teach and Learn myself - simultaneously with teaching others, (3) Use and Follow high probability setups, …
If I have missed you and your thread meets the criteria, please reply ASAP and let me know. Thanks to all of you for participating, and I look forward to reading your posts!
At the end of June I will put up a User Poll so users can cast their vote and award the iPad 2. You guys can continue to use this thread to discuss the contest.
For those just reading the threads and posts (not writing them), please be sure to Thank people for their efforts, and get involved by asking questions or making comments. It will further the discussion to everyone's benefit.
Just wanted to say I am very impressed so far with the thread content from the contestants. I also really like how many of you have decided to use Videos in your posts, I believe that videos can really help with the education process and provide more of an interactive feeling.
Do you have a tread on creating videos for this site? Not sure how to do it, but your VIDEO Strategy was very good and would like to see if this makes sense for my thread.
No I don't have a how-to for this yet, but I plan to make one soon. Short version: download Camstudio recorder (free), then upload the output file to youtube and embed on futures.io (formerly BMT). Click on the word youtube to the left to get instructions on embedding.
It would be nice to have a BB code to play self hosted (my server) mp4 files. Whenever I try to use one of the hosting companies (youtube, vimeo, etc) I loose so much in conversion and resizing as to make my videos useless. The solution I use now, a text link, is not the most elegant.

You shouldn't lose anything, YouTube and Vimeo offer HD services and you can see millions of examples of HD content on those sites. You are probably just not encoding it properly. I'll make a video on how to do this one day, but for now I'm sure you can find something on Google
