Hi Zoethecus, I cannot get SBSrenko bars to back test because Roonius' version requires numeric value greater than 1 to indicate data continuity instead of resets at session break...... see my post 2-3 posts above yours ...... I will not trade the chart I cannot verify ....... it's said becasue I started to like SBSrenko bars ........ I'll try using aslan's new renko bars but it will take me some time to get there ....... z
I am benchmarking a few renkos and the no gap range with the recent Aardvark strat and will post daily results in the Aardvark thread. It will be interesting to learn if any of the bars can produce a profit on that strat.
I'm testing out NT7 on a laptop and when I try to download, say, the WickedRenko bar .zip file for NT7, it imports okay, but then I can't see anywhere in the program where I can now access the Renko bars as a time interval. When I pull down the interval pulldown menu, it only has the minutes settings (1-60) and the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. Where is the Renko accessed from? I know in 6.5, there's a choice in the intervals section to choose your different bar settings and the tick settings. It's nowhere to be found. What am I missing?
