The process is different in that espressos are pressure packed vs the dripper machine but in the end I think apart from the taste it is the same acidic coffee. Only thing I cut back was the daily intake. In the office where I was chugging down gallons of coffee they make it really strong, they put so much grinded coffee in the machine that sometimes it even spills out when boiling.

A way to make less acidic coffee is cold brewed, but it is weaker too. I also have this thing, but don't use it very often:

Please elaborate on the alcohol if you're not just trying to respond with junk posts to increase you post count.

I think drinking makes you more ballsy , sometimes you need to be ballsy to win

That's just stupid and just like drinking & driving. you should NEVER do that!

You should try to establish good trading habits just like any top athlete. It's important to be at your best physically & mentally.

I've experienced that working out on a regular basis (3 times a week) makes my brain perform better while trading.
When I am not at work I prefer tea and jazz music ,it makes me think a littlebit before taking trades and keeps me in a relaxed mode.

I bought a juicer and started making juice from vegetables and fruits, that gives quite an energy boost.

after a good night sleep (7 hours), start the day with 2 cups of coffee to wake up. first cup to get moving before breakfast, then a second cup as I sit down at my desk to begin the morning's trading. I suppose I am addicted to caffeine because I do not feel right if I don't have a cup to start the day. I don't need any more coffee although I will enjoy another cup or so if I happen to have some left over from the morning..and perhaps an espresso after lunch once a week...in addition, plenty of water to stay hydrated.

after trading, a nice beer always makes the day better. With lunch today, I had a smoked beer, https://www.brauerei-spezial.de/brauerei.html

I love this thread, Actually every time I see a response in my subscriptions it makes me most happy. It reminds me to make coffee because sometimes I forget. Once I make coffee I know it's going to be a good day and a lot of posts will follow.

I'll add my 2 cents about coffee from when I started this thread:
Honestly Caffeine shouldn't really affect trading if you're trading a method where you have every outcome is mapped out. The only thing it should do is make you more apt to actually getting down to executing it if there is a entry. The only problem I can forsee is that some people might not know how to control the spontaneous impulse caffeine gives and that may make them do something outside the rules of their system. Other than that I think it's okay.

I also wanted to say that I tried mcdonalds coffee the other week when I was traveling since it was the only place to get coffee before the highway. I have to say for them having the same amount of caffeine as dunkin donuts and other coffee venues, that mcdonalds coffee really packs a punch for what it's worth, 1 dollar for any size. I have a new respect for mcdonalds and it's breakfast menu which should be served all day.
