That page proposes the enclosed 29-page excerpt of Bob Volman's new book : Understanding Price Action: practical analysis of the 5-minute time frame
What seems very interesting to me is that Bob Volman proposes in his book 140 pages of 6 months of consecutive 5-min charts. This should prove he is not cherry-picking.
I'm trading EURUSD with a spread between 0 and 0.2 then a commission of $8 per lot. Then I get a rebate of $1.5 so effectively trade cost around 0.65 to 0.85
Also using MT4 which is definitely capable of tick/range charts etc and there great tools available, such that I'd choose it over Ninja..
Give me a shout if you want more info.
Based on my personal experience, scalping just make me headache and so stressful..it make me glued my face on my computer screen, and since I still have my 8-4 job, I dont have enough time to do scalping
IMHO only the genius who will able to gain a good result with scalping..
you can buy it in kindle format and you can read it with your tablet..
Usually I use my Ipad to read all books I bought from amazon, its much cheaper rather than paperback format.
Yeah, I also looked everywhere with no luck. I have bought both books 😊. Can't wait. I'm also looking into Macks PAT as someone mentioned him earlier. Seems great.
Not easy to find good info on the net.
That is a great price action manual. Lots of examples and there's also his YouTube videos. I actually downloaded about 100+ of them for review... You can go wrong with that purchase.. I just wish he had a video course as that seems to help me learn better.
Regards,
Brian
Yes the videos are great. I think Galen woods is similar and offers a course, not sure but worth looking into.
Do you trade the ES? I'm hoping to stick to forex, 70 tick seems too fast for me so I'm hoping Volmans 5 minute setups will work on a 300 or so tick chart. Tick charts seem to respect channels etc more precisely than other chart types.. Atleast better than range and renko..?
no, I don't trade ES. I only trade Forex. Yes, 70 tick seems a bit fast and a lot to interpret. Bob's newer price action book should be a bit better. But that's just my opinion. Yes, tick charts seem to provide the best detail of price action. Make sure to use an unfiltered data provider to get the most accurate details.
