The article is a bit exaggerated. The opening can be traded. It is more difficult to do something after 3:50 PM EST .
Everybody have a nice week-end.

Some of my friends are Trend Line/Channel indicator fans. A BM member Mr Bean just shared the following in today's chat:
Trading indicators, free - [AUTOLINK]NinjaTrader[/AUTOLINK], eSignal - trend, average
Some of you may enjoy these free indicators. Have Fun!
Beth (Have been occasionally pulling up some charts and looked at their price movement. No real manual trades yet.)

This week I have been exploring Open Range Breakout (ORB ). Am thrilled to locate Sharky's indicator as follows:
View Download Details - Big Mike's Day Trading Forum
Tried to add text/audio alerts to it and so far the audio one is working normal. Plus I modified NJ sample breakout strategy to test out its profit % - seemed close to 75%.
Will continue digging out more information on ORB as I like its simplicity. Need to identify the most effective timeframe for different instruments. For example, the first 30 or 60 minutes for the major index futures. Not sure why Sharky's indicator does not accept 0 for End Minute and has to be at least 1, ie 31 or 61 minutes for the Open Range?
Would be great if some of you may share your ORB experiences with me. Thanks in advance.
Happy & Successful Trading Always.

Today is the first day of Fall (Autumn). Some of you may be aware of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival (Moon Festival) which was yesterday.
A little belated .. Wishing You a Happy Moon Festival + Successful Fall!

YUMMY! Gained 2 pounds just looking at the goodies!
Tested ORB and it works in NT7, BTW.
After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!

Beth,
It would seem you are changing methods, techniques, strategies, indicators, etc, on a daily/weekly basis . How can you get comfortable with anything if you don't stick with a chart(s) for any extended period of time? I think you could pick almost any of the methods you have looked it, and if you stuck with it long enough, created your own plan around it, and built confidence on a system, you could make money with the method.
What is it about the previous methods that tells you that you could not do well with them? How are you judging them so quickly?
Gary
