I wont give you an exact #, but i fluctuate between 5 to my fav #27.. 27 only when Im sure about my moves..
The day im not sure about the mkt i stay away or start off with 1 or 2 contracts & move my way up by adding.. but those are days when im not sure about mkt moves...
I dont recommend anyone to add to a losing trade,,, its a bad habit that i have to quit too.. but I dont do it all the time I only do it when Im certain of mkt moves.. but with these mkts what is certain?????
The risk level is too much, you might get lucky a few times but when you dont you might lose a lot... so stay away from adding.. anyone reading this journal please stay away from doing this...
Please if you are following my #'s on a daily basis dont add to losing positions. just set a proper stop loss.. save your capital... its okay to give back sometimes.. dont forget to give some but take back MORE..
Thanks
Your right...but I know what you mean about doing it sometimes....there are also times where I see a trade and pass on it until it gets blown out and then enter, depending on the particular situation and it works out fairly well
TF has to break Fridays High which was 704.7 to go up if it does break it we could see 709,712.5.. keep an eye out on 697 if it gets bought i will give you a scalping tgt later...but if it gets sold be prepared for the next # down
