As I recently stated in my journal, I read somewhere (can't remember in which book) that:
"A trader who gets upset at losses is like a surgeon who faints at the sight of blood."
So everyday I remind myself that losses are just an operational cost of this business --maybe one day this will sink in to my unconscious thoughts.

Nec spe, nec metu.
(Neither hope nor fear.) I think it sums up quite a lot of the psychological side of trading. Hence my signature.

The moment you want to quit, the market shows you a real winner. One you didn't take.

This is already up:
" After spending many years in Wall Street and after making and losing millions of dollars I want to tell you this: It never was my thinking that made the big money for me. It always was my sitting "
Which is much like:
Don't just do something. Stand there.
That is, don't cut your winners short, because you're going to
need them to pay for your losers. (Of course some traders do just
fine setting profit targets.)
