I think it goes without saying that I am long nq and short nq at the same times and .currently I am still
Short the nasdaq from last Friday. I covered half a few days ago if u are paying attention. These are hedges being short the nasdaq futs long the tqqq and then daily scalps long in the nq futs or es futs against my nq short position but these are in and outs with little duration or value.
You can do this with a comargined subaccount.
This is not wash trading and it is legal to be long short any market.
You are allowed to neutralize positions if you wish to hold thru the weekend thru reports or if you are just waiting for more clarity on the charts.
I find that being in the market helps me read it better than just
Being out of it. When I am say king the nq in acct a and short the nq in sub acct a2
I can then stay calm and if the mkt tanks I can take profit on my shorts and I have zero
Market impact on my longs because I am already long. I do not need to place new buysthat I believe the current days algos map out.
I have found it allows me to take profits not losses which mentally seems easier for me.
Try it. Ask your current broker to open a comargined sub account.
They may ask why? Your answer should be to hedge and it to run a separate trading program and this will help keep all trades separate. Not all brokers allow this.
The broker will be happy because you are buying the nasdaq and selling the nasdaq which is 2 trades not 1.
You can open 2 accounts and do the same thing if your broker will not do sub accounts.
Give it a try sometime. In any mkt. You will have new relaxed claritty

Euro fx coming back up very strong which means dollar dropping. And this
Is usually good for USA stocks to go up
Hence my Tqqq is looking good and I averaged in today
Getting to the screens late today but seeing my positions are almost all running in the correct direction. Taking profits in oil. Sell 3 if my 5 .
