Today was going to be a non-trading day for me anyway, but I had a close friend of mine die over the weekend and definitely am not trading on Monday now. Dealing with death up close and personal has always been something that makes me want to run. Well today I was dealing with death, police, and animal control all up close an more personable than I would like. I am actually wondering if I should just take the rest of the week off, but will take one day at a time.
Best wishes to everyone else. I am taking the bird out of the freezer though. We can't forget turkey day. Don't know about the rest of you, but I have found that the bird never thaws all the way in the fridge. What I do is pull it out late Sunday night or Monday morning and put it in a camping cooler. By the time Thanksgiving morning rolls around I have a bird that is thawed perfectly and ready to go in the oven.
I believe that is the first step in the acceptance process, denial. As I get older it seems my friends are becoming more important to me, I've felt your pain. I remember speaking to my Grand Mother when she was in her 90s, she said, "I've lived to long, I only have one close friend who's still alive, and she's 103!"
On a lighter note, I'm not sure this method would work at Big Mike's house,,,, unless he hung the cooler from a ceiling fan or something.
Still not back trading yet. Taking a peek daily though. Also did my Lumosity,
so dragging myself up by the straps. I'll be back in the trading soon.
Saw some interesting action when I looked at the ES chart for the day
after the fact. Makes me wonder just what it sounded like in the PIT
and exactly what the volumes were during the day.
Trading reminds me so much of wrestling. When you wrestle it looks
so much easier when you are up in the stands watching than when
you are down on the mat with the other guy.
This is a great site... TY Big Mike and everyone here.

Still working on clearing up friends flat with her brother and daughter.
Death is never fun to deal with, especially sudden death.
Looking like I will be back to trading light on Monday
as both brother and daughter will be out of town Friday which will
give me the weekend to regroup and ready myself for Monday.
Interesting charts for certain.
Lots of gap fill plays available for the ES over the last week...
Another type of trading that is on my list for things to learn.
Santa is warming up his sled. Still have a ton of Christmas shopping also to do as well.
Hope you all are raking in the returns in the market in my absence. ;-)
@Big Mike
Is there a way to word wrap my entries other than going to preview (or now that I learned
what Switch Editor Mode does) and then inserting carriage returns which is
what I am doing now to get a right margin less than wide line post default?
Anyone have some ideas. Big Mike is there a PDF on the web covering how to use the
posting editor. 99.9% is intuitive and I really like that; I just don't like asking a ton of
questions and bugging people if I could read about it?
What you are doing right now is wrong actually, it looks badly formatted on everyone's screen except yours. There is no need to word wrap. Just use paragraphs and let the system word wrap automatically.
