I think that booting members for asking questions is more unethical than running a live room on a sim. My intentions are not to litter the internet with trash talking, I just want to know the truth, and I think its only fair that if someone is doing their own due diligence before becoming a member they can come across this thread and understand the fine print. I have learned a lot from JJ, and I dont regret joining. I dont really have much more to say on the matter.
i agree , i learned alot too and do not regret joining , and i have met some wonderful traders who i now trade with live everyday in our own little group
Take a look at this post on my BLOG from benrock back in January, apparently he had just completed a 2 week trial then and his post says that he just paid for an advanced membership. www.schooloftrade.com & James Wave Review: LEGAL ACTION PENDING : SCHOOLOFTRADE.COM …
JJ goes round all the forums posting garbage, as soon as some truth is written about his scam he tries to fill the thread up with nonsense posts about how great he is and how system makes tons of money, garbage SOT is a scam, amazing he is still getting away with it!
First of all I have never posted on ur blog , I joined sot about 6 months ago , I am not liar and I'm not disagreeing with u but like I said if I post anything bad about sot I lose my membership , I know and respect ur sot feelings , not against u brother
In 1997 I took a Wade Cook class-cost was about $3900. His big statement was do as I do...watch me from our website and follow me. So I blindly signed up for 6 months for more big $$. I did his option trades and slowly took a 10K account to almost nothing about 1200 left in it. My winners were small, and my losers were large...heard that story before. About 3-4 years later I signed up for a class action suit, and filled out 8-10 pages. About 1 year or so later, the FCC won the suit against Cook and his company, and I got a check in the mail. It was for less then 1% of what I paid, the FCC took the majority of the suit. The lawyers make a killing.....not so much for anyone else. BTW, I took my wife to dinner, and told her I was sorry for losing 14K. BTW, I never lost like that again....but money mgt. is so key to trading, and focus on that not who is teaching or calling trades. It is all up to us. Here are my daily rules that I read each day prior to trading:
My philosophy of Trading:
1. Trading is a probability business.
2. You can win or you can lose when trading. Learn to accept losing…this is hard to learn at first. Our culture says we must win at all costs. Trading is 180 of what we have been taught in life.
3. Know the trading probability of your system.
4. Do not use real money, until you can duplicate your trading method and results in Sim mode, as you would trading real money. The pressure in RT separates from this fact.
5. Even under all your systems best risk reward setup you will still have losing trades.
6. Learn to love those losing trades just as much as you win….just keep the losers short and follow your rules.
7. Let your winners run, and keep your losers tight-Not the other way around.
It is your job to minimize your losses and maximize your winners-No One Else is responsible for you but YOU.
8. Do not take every trade you see…Know the best time for your trading method.
9. You must follow your specific rule set for each trade that will help you to be on the winning side of trades most of the time.
10. You are the Holy Grail….not a system, or someone else.
11. Become a Master of- Volume Analysis, S & R, Price action and the specific markets you trade.
Hope this helps...trade relaxed.... above all be happy. Mark
It seems School of Trade is pirating Elite indicators and selling them as their own. This is based on a video I just watched on YouTube where they were saying to get Gom indicators from their website.
I have tried to make contact with him. If true, I will take legal action. Based on what I've read in this thread with all the other legal action against these people it is not surprising.
