Is Apple going to $1,000 per share and dragging the market higher with it?
Sometimes one chart tells us more than a thicket of charts. Every analyst and punter seeks an "edge" by plotting and comparing innumerable indicators, ratios, correlations and data points. Sometimes all this complexity pays dividends, but if it did so consistently then 90% of hedge funds and mutual funds wouldn't be underperforming index funds. Sometimes a single chart says it all.
Any questions? Yes. Doesn't this mean that AAPL (Apple) is on its way to $1,000 per share based on iPad 3 sales, and with strong growth in GDP and corporate profits, the Dow Jones Industrials are going to 15,000 and the S&P 500 is heading for 1,500? Answer: If that's what you see in this chart, then that's what the chart means to you.
High Volume Day. the weekly stoch is up in the OB zone, flat which is positive. the daily stoch is breaking below the OB zone, 68, which until the weekly stoch breaks down is profit taking...............
that stock saved my little booty today. i set up a straddle or strangle or whatever the heck u call it on both $GLD and $SLV ahead of the fed meeting and totally messed it up - a tragedy of missed profits -- thank god for $AAPL when i saw that breaking out hopped into the calls & cashed 'em out for +33% 10 m bfore the close. what are we going to do if that AAPL trade ever dries up?

Daughter: Dad, I meant to ask you, how do you get along with the new iPad that we gave you as a birthday present?
Dad: Good.
Daughter: You also get along with all those apps?
Dad: What apps? Can you please move a little bit …. so ….. What?
the whole stock market is mostly Apple's upward price surge. I have no idea, but is this an island reversal? I have two bull call spreads one ITM and one OTM, both profitable. Holding for now..................
