I don't have the stomach to think more than a few minutes into the future when trading the Euro. I was done early, but I would have been a seller in that Low Volume Area from 1.2605 to 1.2623 (with the pivot) then and now. I'm liking the volatility but the political pressure on the Euro is a (metric) ton. Happy Trails
In the real short term, that's really ambitious. What smart money?
I'm long at 2582 - just now - expecting to test previous high.. but with this kind of pullback - it could go higher though.. Beyond that, I'm clueless. If someone opens there mouth about Greece, things can go either way IMHO.
I think we just had a test to the upside with new highs and trend line break and now we rotate down to 1.2550-2570 area where it will be a buy... then it makes a run at the trend line again.

I've been posting some trades on this thread lately (still new to me) and have enjoyed the experience and the interactions with you guys. I find it amazing to see all the opinions, methods and time frames different traders use to accomplish the same goal. We all bring our methods, bias's and psychology to the electronic marketplace, line-up, and take our best shot.
This morning after running down my pre-market check list and looking at the overnight market movements, I got wrapped up in GaryD's late night commentary in his CL thread. On the opening bar at 2am my trade was triggered but I just couldn't pull myself away from GaryD's thread to post my trade in a timely manner so I decided to sit out posting this morning. Very busy session from 2 til 6, gotta love it!
Maybe you guys will see a push going into the EU close or 2 o'clock est.
Swinging or scalping they both have their plus and minus. With scalping it's instant gratification when things go as planned, with swinging it's more liberty in your hands and less stressful. I realise i am slowly drifting toward the medium and long term trading. To be sure just look at the USDJPY. One could have placed a sell two months ago and been playing golf since then.
