this is one of the ES trades...pardon the mess on it as I'm always playing around but at the up arrow 1156 was a juncture of an ascending trend line and a decending trend line as well as an area of horizontal s/r. I identified the area well before it was hit and actually jumped in front of it, a bullish engulfing bar appeared and was off to the races..until at red arrow bearish engulfing bar showed up and it was cut and run for me. I would have reentered at a lower number but it didn't retrace ennough for me. simple stuff

this is the TF, the arrows show entry/exits. I did not get the first one...missed it but did get the second which was one of Bugs areas...I also got the last one...anyway the point is it's simple stuff....pinbars, double high lower close, engulfing bars...The trick to it is screen time and knowing areas of s/r. The more confluence of things the better the probability. as an example refer to the ES chart I posted before this. I can also tell you that as long as you got the right location you shouldn't lose. Ther are some other points/nuances maybe you guys know about that apply but really is pretty simple. As a side note on the bottom I have a cumulative delta thing(the data on this one disappeared for some reason) which I am discovering tells me when the market is ripe for the picking, still learning some about it but am very encouraged so far
One last note..I also use a 2000 tick chart, there was some stuff on that to...I have been using both to kind of verify things.
If anyone is interested in exact entry methods or exits let me know and I can explain
I was kind of thinking about the charts I posted and thought it would be important to mention that those tick numbers that I use for the TF and ES don't automatically work on everything else. Without knowing the amount of experience the people who view this stuff have I felt obligated to mention that. I have also used a 2000 tick on EMD, YM, and NQ but they have to be read differently. obviously you could use any number you like, it's that you have to get it where you can understand what's going on consistantly. If say you try a 233 tick and you see garbage at the swing points...it's no good. You want to get a number that gives you pinbars or something similar at the swing points . I have found that 2875 works ok on ES but 3675 weeds out some of the "traps" and garbage. 2000 works well on the TF as well as 1597(thanks Bugs). The YM is loaded with traps with a 2000 tick as is the NQ but I do use that and it's ok because I have learned to only take certain setups on those which I have not revealed here...secret weapon..ha ha ha
