i'm new to MM trading , was always on CCI woodies or Ichimoku systems , and on metatrader and posting on F.F forums (coding some indicators mql for MT4)
So can you please explain simply a strategy using MM lines
I have tried for the moment to go long on -2/8 when TF 5 & TF15 are "overshooted" is it right ?
but i wonder if it's not risky because , the bearish trend can go on
what should i check before (line of support ?)
when i change to another TF ie (15 to 5 min) i change also MMperiod 64 to 32 is it good ?
thanks you for your explanations
Most people realistically use MM on 15 min. or higher charts. On the 15 min. chart you might want to use either 32 or 64 frame which will (on the ES) usually give you a 2 - 4 point spread. Since you mentioned TF I am including a 15 min TF chart that shows a 64 frame and the recalc from 2 point spread to 4 point spread. A daily chart would normally use 8 frame I believe which I think normally gives around a 7.5 point spread on the ES.
Does anyone know of a way to manually back test the Murrey Math Indicator in MT4? Since it's based on the current market action, is there a way to set it to focus on the past? Thanks.
Hmmm, I smell rotten tomatoes here. Heheh. If you compare you can see a world of difference. But you are right and I think most people know that those lines alone don't mean something is going to happen there. Always use other confirmation.
I wrote this strategy over a year ago for NT. I haven't looked at it in a year, but I've received dozens of requests from people who read about the strategy for me to sell it or give it to them, etc. I've always declined, but the fact is, …
