It both awareness and will-power to break the cycle and create a new reality. It is important to set aside some time every morning and evening to create in your mind the future you wish to see unfold for you.
To be successful in a physical condition program you set a schedule for your workouts.
Set a schedule for your mental workouts.
Successful people, though, are those who accept responsibility for their lives. They know that talk is cheap; actions are all that really matter. The world is waiting for men and women who seek the opportunity to render real service — the kind of service that lightens the burdens of their neighbors, the kind of service that 95 percent of people do not render because they do not understand it. When you provide a truly useful service, enthusiastically and in a spirit of genuine helpfulness, success will automatically follow. The world seeks out such individuals and rewards them accordingly.
Examine most carefully the things you desire most.
Far too many people spend more time planning their weekends than their lives. Then they suddenly realize that life has passed them by and they weren’t even aware it was happening. When you intently study what you most desire in life, you begin to focus your mind and concentrate your energy upon that which you wish to achieve. One of the great advantages of having a definite goal for your life is that it helps you prioritize your activities. When your major purpose is clear in your mind, it is unnecessary to analyze each individual situation. You know automatically whether your actions will move you toward your goal or away from it. You can then use all of your resources — time, money, and energy — to best advantage.

What a man treasures that is where his heart will be.
What you focus upon grows - your dominating thoughts determine your world.
"Money is either a good or bad influence, according to the character of the person who possesses it.
It’s true. Money has no character, no personality, no values. Its actions only reflect the desires of its owner. Money can build great hospitals and schools, or it can be gambled away or squandered on meaningless possessions. Money may build museums to house beautiful works of art, it may construct beautiful houses of worship — or it may be used to create instruments of war and destruction. As you build your personal wealth, make sure you build your character by setting aside a portion of your income to help others. Choose a church, a charity, or a cause that you can enthusiastically support. Then give of your money and your time in support of that cause. The primary beneficiary of such noble actions is always the one who gives, not the one who receives. "

"To receive more, give more." - source forgotten
The idea of priming the pump to start the flow from the source of all.
Then it becomes:
"You can't out give God"
Proverbs 11:24–25
Some give freely, yet grow all the richer;others withhold what is due, and only suffer want.
A generous person will be enriched, and one who gives water will get water.
2 Corinthians 9:7
Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Templeton became a billionaire[4][5][6][7][8][9] by pioneering the use of globally diversified mutual funds. His Templeton Growth Fund, Ltd. (investment fund), established in 1954, was among the first who invested in Japan in the middle of the 1960s.[10] He is noted for, during the Depression of the 1930s, buying 100 shares of each NYSE listed company which was then selling for less than $1 a share ($17 today) (104 companies, in 1939), later making many times the money back when USA industry picked up as a result of World War II.[11]
In 2006 he was listed in a seven-way tie for 129th place on the Sunday Times's "Rich List". He rejected technical analysis for stock trading, preferring instead to use fundamental analysis.[7] Money magazine in 1999 called him "arguably the greatest global stock picker of the century".[12]
Templeton was one of the most generous philanthropists in history, giving away over $1 billion to charitable causes.[13] Templeton renounced his US citizenship in 1964, allowing him to channel an additional $100 million that he would have paid in US income taxes when he sold his international investment fund, toward philanthropy.[14][15][16] He held dual naturalised Bahamian and British citizenship and lived in the Bahamas.
A friend is one who knows all about you and still respects you.
A true friend is a priceless gift. When we reveal our hopes, our dreams, and our deepest secrets to others, and they still like and respect us, such people are to be cherished. All too often, the only reason others wish to spend time with us — to be our friends — is because of what they perceive we can do for them, not the other way around. A real friendship is reciprocal, one in which each friend benefits equally. You can earn the friendship of others by being the kind of person who deserves respect from friends. When others look up to you, it should make you even more conscious of the responsibility you have to treat them with the same respect you would like them to afford you.
Many times in our lives we encounter problems, day-to-day problems.
We try to solve our problems with standard answers.
Stressed?
"Of, I know we gush:
meditate,
exercise,
have a soaking bath..."
But it isn't a school quiz where naming conventional answers earns us browning points with the teacher.
Just naming solutions leaves us in our right-brain "empirically-validated" responses.
Wonderful - but are you now less stressed? How is it working for you?
If what your rattled worked for you why are you still stressed?
IF your conventional mind and approaches have not worked, take a break from your monkey mind chatter reflex responses.
---------------------
Remember you are a spiritual being in a physical body having a short-lived 80 yr experience, step outside your monkey mind. The solution is there.
Perhaps you have to care for elderly parents, and you find they can be cranky and demanding and you are exhausted and stressed. If you RUN to get them tea and and a pillow - does the situation change? Are they now less demanding?
Ask yourself, what do they really need?
It is not those things.
They need LOVE.
Press flowers in their hearts.
Getting a tea for your dad?
Take time make it with love,
Deliver it with love,
See in your mind you hugging your dad as he was as a young child - happy smiling and full of energy - as you walk to the living room to bring in the tea. See him as a child, joyfully receiving your (psychic) hug and beaming with joy.
You deliver the tea and physical elderly dad grumbles you took to long.
Smile and send more love.
Kind, gentle, compassionate love
Love without cost - love without judgement - love without condition.
Know that inside - the real dad - the spiritual dad received your hug and smiled and was full of joy,
Friendship recognizes faults in friends but does not speak of them.
True friendship acknowledges imperfections, accepts them as part of our individual makeup, and focuses on our positive aspects instead of expounding upon our faults. Your friends don’t like you to comment upon their failings any more than you like them to criticize you. When your friends are discouraged or disappointed in themselves, a word of encouragement will serve much better than a sermonette. To be the kind of friend you would like to have, be a good listener, offer advice when you are asked for it, and treasure the trust that your friends have placed in you. Praise them for their achievements and sympathize when they fall short, but avoid offering “constructive criticism” or playing devil’s advocate. Most of us expect more from ourselves than anyone else ever would, and we are painfully aware of our shortcomings. We don’t need to be reminded of them by our friends.
The worst thing about worry is that it attracts a whole flock of relatives.
Worries, like sheep, seem to flock together. One worry leads to another, and soon you are overwhelmed with the potential for problems. When you allow yourself to play the “what if?” game — to speculate about additional problems that one potential problem might cause — worries multiply, each making the next seem worse. If you must play the “What if?” game, play it to win. Focus on solutions, not on the problems themselves and the additional problems they might create. However serious your worries may seem when they awaken you at midnight, if you analyze them carefully, you will find that every problem has a solution.
