I reverted back to your previous version of ECO2, the one without the blue band. The lines appear smoother. Would a break above 10 or below -10 be the same thing as a break above or below the blue band? Thanks.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
you can go into the script and change the width of the band but i have otmized the indicator for hrs and its set at a good place, and i just use the dynamic s/r on the 11 range to help me see where the market is but if i decide to scalp on the 4 range i feel safer if the price has broke the band on the 11 range i wait for the bar to close...sharky
Sharky,
Did you see any trades this morning in ZN? All I saw was chop on the 11 range so I chose to stay out of the breakouts on the 4 range. Should I have taken these trades on the 4 range anyway? Seemed risky to me without the 11 range confirming. Thanks!
if i have chop on my 11 range i just turn my computer off and walk away for me there is no use in trading,if there is a deffinate trend then by all means scalp till your heart is content lol...sharky
Thanks Sharky,
One other question that I have been wondering. Do you think Ecobars or Sharkfin bars are better painting? I have noticed that you put up an indicator of the Sharkfin bars on some of your screenshots with the Ecobars painting, leading me to believe you want them both up at the same time or... I realize things are ever changing so maybe I should just make up my mind. I have looked at both and it seems that Sharkfin paints the bars better...
On one hand I am totally for continuous improvement with charts and settings, then on the other hand, changing all the time can be bad too...
lol i post different charts so you guys will have different ideas to persue on your own if you saw my real chart you would stop reading my classroom...sharky
