If I really traded the ES I would like to find a place to short it, just from a personal viewpoint more than a technical one. I may play with that some and set a wide swing. I don't really like trading the ES though. Yesterday the S&P hit 1374. Maybe this post alone will serve as my paper trade.

I've sat and watched crude for most of the day, two screens running in addition to other work on other screens. I can't really find anything to trade today. I considered shorting the top of the channel, and did take a short entry, only to close it seconds later as I decided it was a trade out of boredom. It would have been a winner, but cost me 5 ticks due to indecision and breaking my rules. Not really a "losing trade" to me, even though a performance report counts it against me, but something I want to improve about myself. Sometimes just being ready to trade can be a negative.
I am still interested in a long around 106.50-107.20.
