I flattened my ZB trade for 1 tick loss. I bit disappointed it didn't run.
ZB: -$31.25
I am still in my gold trade though! Still seeing some gyration below the Monthly PP. Hoping for a break lower soon. We have news in 30-minutes that could cause some movement.

Hey all. We have Yellen testifying today. This will more than likely mean a boring day up until then.
I will not be trading the ES today.
I have added to my gold trade/ I am still riding it down.
I haven't had a one lot trade bank this much profit in a long while! I am pretty pumped about it.

Thoughts: ES punched me on the face right away in the morning. I ended up
scalping both the long and
short side afterwards. This allowed me to recover some of my losses.
I was holding the gold trade ON which played out very nice at the
RTH open. I am still in one
contract . I honestly am bewildered by how well it is playing out.
I took a ZB long on the thought that since we are in a "risk-off" environment, as well as US being the only safe place right now (JPY policy is poo and Europe is clearly struggling. Take a look at Deutsche Bank)
Nice work.
I'm familiar with the risk-on, risk-off distinction, but have never really given it much (or any) thought or weight. It will be interesting if it turns out to be useful after all. Glad you brought it up.
Bob.

Holy wowza!
Gold broke the FOMC low! I am glad I added another lot. I was taking a tad bit of heat on the second lot, but it is paying off now!

Heading out for the day.
Here is the gold trade I still have on. USD moving thanks to OPEC , the Saudis, and Yellen. This is the main catalyst for price on gold today.
I have my target set in as well as my stop loss. My target is above recent supports as seen in the photo.
Do me a favor while I am gone guys: make sure gold keeps going lower.
Catch you all later!

Hey!
Just read your post. I have a few minutes to respond.
The ZB trade was one I placed yesterday. It was ~300 dollars in the green when I went to sleep, but I woke up to it at breakeven . So when I flattened, it ended up minus one tick.
Look through last night's posts and you will see the photo of it. I was long.

Bob.
I can go over my interpretation of this stuff tonight if you all would like that.
Risk on vs risk off
Inflationary vs deflationary
and so forth.
