"If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much." - Jim Rohn
This is NOT what I think about the bigger picture:
Price is in daily Kumo and normally does not get out on the upper side (closing price).
So some more downmoves until end of October are quite possible.
Assuming this scenario I would be very careful with longs right now.
Yes - nothing official traded.. Derivatecheck.de does not show the
holiday - sorry for confusion.
BNP Parisbas shows some trades - price jumped up to 9333 actually.
But my broker does not show any activity as well.
So wait for Monday - and have a great weekend!

The only days in 2014 where the DAX isn't available to trade are:
Jan 1: New Year's Day
April 18: Good Friday
April 21: Easter Monday
May 1: Bank Holiday
October 3: German Reunification Day - Bank Holiday
December 24,25,26,31: Christmas and New Year
The official 2015 Holiday Regulations page has not been updated however the calendar has.
The following is the very unofficial list of days when the market is closed.
Jan 1 2015: New Year's Day
April 3: Good Friday
April 6: Easter Monday
May 1: Bank Holiday
December 24,25,31: Christmas and New Year
This of course doesn't mean that there is the required volume to make things happen on all other days.
Dax reached the point of 93xx as we had seen on Friday on some brokers.
Today will no trade take place as Friday was a holiday and Thursday had
this sharp downmove.
