Thanks for the updated version. I have a question about your DMplus_v3a, since it's also showing entry signals, is there a way to add a switch so I can disable that function ? I use the DMPlusSignals_v5 for that.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I rechecked several posts regarding Force_Index_v02. Perry talked about FI in page 14, post#138
"REgarding the ForceIndex, you only need ONE ema of 13. It can be the fast or the slow as you please. " And in page 1, post #1, he mentioned "4. ForceIndex_v02 (EMA 13)" Based on the above two statements, I use setting(HMA 7 , EMA 13) for FI. Though the default setting of FI is (HMA 7, HMA 13). I hope you can provide advicement. TIA!
the only advice i can give is, that you take care to have all parameters of the diff FI (onetime pure in the lower panel + onetime inside the DM_Signal_indicator) are set up in the same way,
because i saw in your pictures it was not like this.
thats what caught my attention.
if its OK the way you did it, then its ok
sorry if i caused confusion.
The charts were generated with NT 6.5, Time of chart is EST. I present 3 attachments for comparison of different versions of indicator DMPlusSignals. The good news is v5 is better than v4, v4 is better than v3. The bad news is there is unsolved problem of signal firing.
A. Chart of v3 vs. v4 - MureyMath indicator was taken off temporarily to make chart clearer. v4 solved some problem.
B. Chart of v4 vs. v5 - Again no MureyMath here. Doji bars got Setup bar signals.
C. Chart v3 vs. v4 vs. v5 - The bar corresponding to the issue # 5 is the 2nd rising bar and meets rules for Setting bar, got no signal.
The above is my observation. I hope Mike can improve the code with his excellent skill in NinjaScript. TIA!
Going to make a suggestion. Don't look at previous versions. Only look at the current version and validate it. That will reduce the confusion immensely. At least it will for me. After all, what's the point of even looking and comparing to previous versions. Just look at the current one based on what is brought up in this thread and see if you have the same issue or if new issues have been created (heaven forbid that I would create a new issue)...
I just know it took me a bit to sift through those charts looking at each comment and each version just to see issue 5. I am a punch line kind of guy. Give me the punch line and then give me all the other stuff if you want. Not being critical in any way.
Having lots of fun...you guys are keeping me out of trouble.
