There was still a lot of selling this morning before crude finally broke out to the upside, and then it stopped almost to the penny of the 618, and never really found much support after that. It did catch at the breakout pivot where I tried to buy, but nmow it is coming into the 2pm window and I am not interested anymore. Conflicting signals.

The 6 range say sell, the 15 minute says buy, not that strong to me.

CL won the battle today in it's ability to psyche me out. I was a buyer early, after the EIA, and dropped it more than once. Then a buyer again at the return to the BOP, stepped out early again. I finished the day up +24, but in my mind it was a losing day.

Resistance came in strong the scond time in the 108.55-108.66 zone. I felt that opposition in the first run and the following fall off, and so in the last long I took my intended profit wos not even to the prior pivot. That had a lot to do with me changing my mind. If I did not think it would break it...

I'll put a penny in the pig for the day, but not with any celebration.

I am done for the week, have to fly to DC tonight or in the morning, still need to find a flight. I will finish the week up 154 ticks, and will go ahead and drop the nickel in today.

I was in 2 contracts earlier around 106.50, somewhere in there. But I was getting phone calls, had people coming into my office off and on, and was slightly hungover from my wife's birthday last night. I mentioned this mornig I should probably walk while I was up, and that was before my last long. I think I held that feeling of lacking confidence after already saying I was off.
