1. An end that can be reasonably achieved within an expected timeframe and with available resources. In general, an objective is broader in scope than a goal, and may consist of several individual goals. Objectives are a basic tools that underlying all planning and strategic activities. They serve as the basis for policy and performance appraisals.
2. Neutral (bias free), relating to, or based on verifiable evidence or phenomenon instead of on attitude, belief, or opinion. Opposite of subjective.
Many users are looking for objective trading systems or methods, is this possible on a long time frame? A bot or a mechanical method could be defined as objective systems, personally I always failed to build a consistent one. They were working for a certain period of time but failed when the market conditions changed (markets are rational, people are not James Dalton). Even bots or mechanicals need to be adapted and re arranged ence they loose their objectiveness.
I beleive that in trading there are no short cuts, everybody has its own experience, trading style and personality. It is useless to copy ones system and pretending to make money in a shorter time frame. I believe learning and studying are supportive but experience is the key factor, everybody needs to find its own way and it might take a few months, years, or decades.
When I decided to post my method I was not totally convinced, what works for me,not only financially, might not work for somebody else. When it comes to money it's always a big responsability to show a method, it might be fun with a sim account, but with real money it's a whole different story.
I am very proud of this method, not because of its results, because it's unconventional and reflects my own personality, it's the fruit of my experience and passion for this job and it's mine.
As I mentioned in a previous post, there are many ways to go from A to B. Do not try to mechanically copy this method, but rather use it, together with many others on futures.io (formerly BMT) and the net, to build your own.
