On having viewed "Man of Steel" , without going into too much detail, a few parts were amazing, the CGI effects have never been better, and then equally or more elements of the move were greatly disappointing.
Without spoiling, I also can't believe today's young generations like a horribly written "dark" near ending moment of the film. Here's the original Donner cut of Superman II (1980) which showed the de-powered Zod and cohorts along with Luthor taken away in two arctic patrol cars which was also shown in the ABC TV premiere cut approved by the Salkinds. So no, they were not killed in cold, icy blood when they fell down those crevices. Also Superman destroys the fortress afterwards in another cut scene not shown.
Great movie for something unusual; Seven Psychopaths. It was not what I expected, and a lot better. Great characters, great acting, great cast, gruesome but comedic. RedBox for $1.22
