Yet another frustrating day at both work and trading. I knew it would be an eventful day at work and I would not have much time to day trade, so I forced two MES ( and one stock) trades early in the morning. To no surprise, both of the MES news trades yielded a loss. Also, CL is not cooperating and the CL call options are deeper in the hole. CL will and can be very volatile, and I am still bullish oil. So I still think these options will be worth some money, hopefully with in 14 days!
On a good note, most of my stock trade closed at some profit today. Below are my numbers.
I am down $6 today on closed trades and much more on still open trades! Bad decisions early this morning and I may need to take few days to fix my work issues before going back to day trading.
It would be nice if I can speed up the trading learning curve and leave all the corporate BS behind, but unfortunately, it there is no such thing!
Thanks . I am hoping the re-org would not force me to get another job working from an office ( like with other people next to me ). Then my day trading is for sure over
Where there is a will, there is a way. Is there a way to work remotely in your line of work, at least one day per week? If not, there is usually a way to find some sort of privacy even in open floor-plan setups (which are what I am used to). Its never ideal, but if you look at it as just another temporary puzzle to solve in the bigger longer-term trading picture, I think you will be fine. Wishing you the best of luck!
Only one quick trade in the morning. I got in with 3 MES lots on a news break, got my first target and was out on a a trail on the rest. My CL options are doing better and I should be able to take one off this week.
No new stock trades.
I am up $30 on my closed trades. A very low stress day with only 20 minutes of trading in the morning.
A much easier trading day ( since I have been bullish for a couple of weeks), and things are somewhat better at work. I was able to watch the markets and take few trades on stocks, gold and MES. The 3 MES was easy and I just went long early in the morning and scaled out. My CL options looked very good in the morning, but some news come out later to take away the $150+ in profit and go into the loss below. It seems that "the powers that be" want to keep oil prices down, no matter what the fundamentals are shouting. So I may take profits tomorrow, if any.
I traded well with no stress and followed my plan on all trades. I am up $313 on my closed trades today.
I just had one news trade today. This time I took it on both MES and M2K at the same time. I have a tight first target and trail the rest manually. I was out at BE on the rest of the trade for both. My CL calls did not go anywhere today. I was hoping to take one off today since I am starting to run out of time!
I am up $39 on my closed trades. Low stress and draw today.
Just stocks today and no day trades due to work. All are still in red. I had expected a bullish day, so I picked all the long VSA set ups. The day did not go anywhere. I have posted some charts below, but did not have much time to explain the set ups. My CL calls are better, and I wanted to exit one today, but it did not get to my target.
Nothing closed today so no profit/loss. An easy day with no ( trading) stress and followed all rules.
Three new trades today. A stock, MES and a CL trade. Not much of a day as expected due to low volatility. Is anyone reading my posts. My CL options were doing very well early until Bolton firing news. New fundamental news should keep the CL going for tomorrow.
I am plus $62 for my closed trades today. An average day with no mistakes.
