anyone here know the AMP rules? for the interday margins i have to be out before the close(i think with AMP its 5mins before the close), then once it opens again i can get back in on inter day margins? basically im only charged overnight margins while its closed?

You should check with Amp, but in general, overnight margin only comes into effect if you carry a position past the close of the cash session. If you close a position a few minutes before close (I believe it may be 15 minutes), and then re-enter the position when the new session starts, you should avoid overnight margins.
If your broker is Mirus then overnight margins only apply if you carry a position during the daily shut down. For the ES that is 3:15-3:30pm Central. For 6E the shut down with overnight requirements is 4-5pm Central. For TF it is 5-7pm Central.
