I have had a few issues where I could not log in.. Could not tell you why it happened... waited 15 minutes then everything was fine..... and there have been times I have lost connection to the server. But was able to reconnect immediately without any issues.... In both cases I believe it was my home internet sercvice which was causing the problem.
It should be noted that the data center did not lose connection to my broker or lose any orders during these occurences.
so to answer your question, since July, I have lost connection to the data center 2 or 3 times a month. Nothing major. ...The last time I remember losing connection was in late November..
I always assumed that getting a UPS was absolutely necessary for trading the Forex, or anything else.
Use seem to be saying that having a high end cell phone is much more likely to be of use in getting out
of any open trades in an emergency:
*) power failure
*) ISP down
...instead of assuming that the UPS will do its job (during a power failure).
There are so many cell phones out there, but I'd like to know what you use.
Also, (rookie question) is your broker, or someone, always there? The Forex is open day and night, as we know.
