Hmm. Good deal if you are in market for a Kindle Fire (15% off today only). But also makes me think sales are slow on this and they used this as excuse to boost.
I went ahead and bought a Kindle Fire HDX 7" w/AT&T 4G and got my $50 off. This is for my grandma for Christmas. She doesn't have internet at her house and I told her I would get her an easy way to see me (Skype, etc) when I move to Ecuador. So this should fit the bill.
Best thing is, it has 24/7 unlimited "Mayday" support, which means if she ever needs help Amazon will be there, with a live video stream, instead of me! Yay!! That's worth some money right there.
So now just to see if I can get the T-mobile free 200MB of tablet data to work on this with their sim. If not, AT&T has a tablet only offering for $15 or so a month. Worth it to stay in touch after I move.
