I'm well aware of the parallels drawn to the animal kingdom that are giving us perspectives on how to develop into better traders. I myself don't agree with those parallels, but I do agree with the fact that we ought to be copying those behaviors and turn them into a higher level of discipline.
Going back to the animal topic. You see, animals and humans are two different kinds because what differs us from them is simply our emotions.
Animals are driven by their instincts based on survival, and they're also more in tune with mother nature. If we're to be driven by our instincts, then we'd be having to do exactly the opposite, meaning that we're not supposed to go into survival mode (that's when you lose all your money).
Why I asked you to develop the topic was because it is an interesting one based on the development of discipline and because of the spirit of this forum which is Traders Helping Traders. If we develop our thoughts, we can both learn more ourselves and even teach others.
We all struggle to make tomorrow look like yesterday!
