Same results, except when I skip forward both players seem to be buffering; however, no video.
I checked to make sure that's it's not my internet connection, also restarted the phone. No difference in results.
With Firefox 17.0.1: Both videos of both links work well.
With Chrome Version 23.0.1271.97:
The second link ("Flow") causes heavy load (Chrome nearly freezes) and finaly results in "DivX Plus Web Player has crashed."
No problems with the videos of the first link.
Hi Mike,
I have tested on two different machines, an older and a newer, with different versions of Chrome. I've compiled a spreadsheet of the results and it's probably easiest if I send this to you via email. Shoot me an email (if you have it, if not, I have sent you a PM) and I can send the spreadsheet over.
Tested both pages on my Galaxy Tab 7.7.
Used a slow wifi and/or 3G connection.
Results page HTML5:
One issue was the first video had difficulty starting on first load.
Pressing the arrow required three attempts to load.
After that, it ran and moved fine.
1) Any stuttering or slow playback?
None on either video after the initial issue with starting the first video.
This also occurred when I left the site and returned with a new startup.
I'm not sure it is the video's issue or the Android system.
2) Pause and resume - does it work or does it skip? Try leaving it paused for a bit.
Worked well on both videos.
Pausing for a while does not affect it.
3) Full screen mode, does it work?
Full Screen fine on both videos.
4) Seeking, can you skip forward and backward in time instantly?
Able to seek and skip around fast but not instantly (not bad but not instant)
5) Quality, does the video quality look good?
Quality is fine but this tablet has higher resolution than the videos (or at least it appears so)
Results page PHP:
The first time, through I stopped and started video.
The first video played FT71 SOUND and NT8 VIDEO.
Strange.
Reloaded and tried again, videos were in the proper place but the slider bar immediately went to fully loaded. As if the video had been played. The timer said I was less than one minute into the video but could not seek spots since the slider was fully to the right.
This happened on both videos.
1) Any stuttering or slow playback?
Startup is slower than HTML5 page.
Windows look funny and cramped on each other.
2) Pause and resume - does it work or does it skip? Try leaving it paused for a bit.
Pausing works ok on both. Resumes at same spot.
3) Full screen mode, does it work?
Full Screen fine on both videos but is in a different place so it was strange at first.
It goes into full screen smoother than HTML5
4) Seeking, can you skip forward and backward in time instantly?
Seeking is labored by the seek bar being fully to the right.
If I force it to go to a spot the video pauses and never restarts.
3 moving dots on screen but no playback.
If I click on the screen or on the dots it goes back to beginning.
5) Quality, does the video quality look good?
Quality is about the same as HTML5
Sound slider does not work on this version for me.
I will give a test on my Galaxy Note II next post.

My understanding is that is a third-party add-on that is causing that problem. Run chrome in incognito mode and make sure no add-ons are enabled, and let me know. You don't need or want DivX anything here.
