on a further note, in automating the stock analysis, I have found price at leading edge , in forecasting ,

whereas volume is always supportive role. (but this does not reduce the importance of volume).

in fact, it is independently drawn feature.

to keep changing the time frames for decisions, is a killer for your account. I think it should be selected strongly based on targets prices.
The futures commodities (like metals and CL) are specially hard to determine (almost close to impossible), when the big move will occur. (when big players enter the game) ... so lessons learnt for me to keep things simple like stocks and enjoying cyclical moves..

A chaotic system must be sensitive to initial conditions;
The requirement for sensitive dependence on initial conditions implies that there is a set of initial conditions of positive measure which do not converge to a cycle of any length.

I take it as evolution in a certain time frame, A band gap on time axis, in which to refer to as initial condition and Butterfly effect will be true.

that later these initial conditions lead to catastrophe. or in simple laymen language low volatility gives rise to high volatility

Consider a scenario,

I am caught in a channel ( triggered early ), with high leverage , the price is exactly in the middle of range, and time when normally high volume occurs, the channel has started to expand on time scale.

what indicators may b useful to watch. ?
