I can't believe that they gave Ben the redemption bus pass. Never liked that dude. The theme, it seemed up until now, is that those with a bad track record are going with Locke. We'll have to see how this shakeout affects Kate and Jin before the final ho-down. It's good to see Jack finally get his mojo back.

Speaking of Hurley... unless I missed something, he added a few things in that "with the dead" conversation between Isabella and Ricardo. Didn't he tell Richard Alpert that Isabella said they have to stop the dude in black, but she didn't really say that right? Maybe I just missed it.
Yeah, I just watched it, I wasn't really sure if he was speaking for her or not. I was glad to finally hear Richard's story though, I liked it. So it's the hellmouth, not really purgatory, and I am assuming Jacob works for God. But if when he brings people there they are dead (because he killed them or they just died?), then how can they still die on the Island? Then how did Darma and Whitmore and the others come to the Island when Jacob didn't bring them? I don't see how they can be dead like Richard was saying.
The latest Lost episode was great. There are numerous roles upon the island that are finally being translated to the viewer now. Who is who and what exactly they do or actually what they have to do to keep the balance within the island. I believe the above poster is correct in stating that there was no verbage from Isabella in Hurley's supposed translation, at least I did not pick it up. As if he made it up to get Richard to continue his job (Jacob probably told Hurley what to tell Richard) for motivation. I would imagine there will be a future war between the good and evil of the island (black vs white battle). There are rules to the island that everyone has to follow, much like the Matrix- so how do you bend "the spoon". Great season, I will be sad to see it end.
Maybe a poll can go up to who will replace Jacob? Jack, Hurley, Kate, Sawyer, Jin, Sun, Sayid? Not sure if Walt was on that list, but he still could make an appearance.
Regards,

Maybe Hurley told Richard some stuff that Isabella was saying to him earlier when he was speaking to nobody and was asked if he was talking to Jacob. Also as far as hell is concerned, remember that the Man in Black may say anything to coerce people to follow him and also remember that the survivors who made it back to civilization the first time couldn't have been dead. As far as I'm concerned, Jack has no mojo. His decisions are always off the cuff and seem likely to ruin everything.
