Which vertical lines are you referring to?

The lines that are made with the numbers. At normal chart settings, they just show as dots. Have to zoom in a lot to get them to show up as numbers.

I predominately use a 6hr chart with 1 and 3 month profiles and hold anywhere
from 2 days to 2 months.

How did you come to choose 6 hours? I am always curious how people choose their time frames.

Coming, they can't be denied. Going, they can't be detained.

change to custom ticksize or you can use automatic and see what that looks like

How did you come to choose 6 hours? I am always curious how people choose their time frames.

At the time I have no idea. This is an old post but 6hr, 4hr, 2hr, not really much difference. Most of my timeframes I use are from backtesting strategies.
