There is a quick and easy fix to this problem. While you can't uninstall Internet Explorer, you can uninstall updates and, fortunately, IE11 is an update.
Open the Control Panel (Start > Control Panel). Click on "Uninstall a Program" (Programs > Uninstall a Program). On the left margin there is a selection "View Installed Updates." Click on this and scroll down to "Internet Explorer 11" under the "Microsoft Windows" heading. Uninstall "Internet Explorer 11" by highlighting it, right mouse click and left mouse select "uninstall." Once completed, you should be asked to "Restart the Computer." Once that completes, you will be running IE10 for which there are no problems downloading or viewing attachments on nexusfi.com (formerly BMT).
