It rather is scam than not being scam since MT's customers are not MT4 users but the brokers providing MT4/MT5. It's free for a reason. It is not a commercial software. The virtual dealer plugin was created by Metaquotes for the brokers so users have no influence and as such can not refuse it which means whole MT would be a scam. Besides it would be interesting to know what gets send to Metaquotes or to the brokers behind users back (codes for example).
