Since you already necro'd this thread, do candlesticks matter these days with advancements in bot algos? Just look at everyday. So many false breakouts. Your patterns will teach something; whereas those intelligent bots behind these false breakouts will chew up all of your orders when real breakouts happen, sooner or later.
