I don't know what can't do the "direct version", but if you can't add any custom indicator you're stuck.
If you can add a custom .dll, produced from a free/simulation Ninja, then you can easily write an indicator or a fake strategy which will do the job using NinjaTrader.Cbi.Globals.Accounts[].Orders[].

Another option, a bit ugly, which will work without any custom indicator, is to read Ninjatrader SQL Compact Edition database from an external program and check the order status.

I worked a couple days on this.

I read the DB to see if the order was manually modified in the chart trader, that would make the robot
to be out-off-balance.. I have that working now. Took a bit of searching to understand the DB model
and the order reference is in a BLOB and not in a column.

From a performance point of view not the best possible solution...
