Cramer is no dummy, he understands the market. He just is too quick to give advice about a stock he doesn't really understand that well in the name of entertainment and he has a fundamental bias that often ignores technicals.
I was watching CNBC when the May "fat finger" crash happened and he called the buying opportunity.
Still, I don't watch his show but if it's on and I'm flipping channels I'll see what he's saying. As far as CNBC goes, I sometimes watch Fast Money as they are all traders and hedgies and I like hearing a diversity of opinions on various markets instead of a single talking head telling me what to do.
