does this also happen with the revised code I posted? If so, please create a new strategy and make sure you copy and paste the whole code out of the code box. Then try to compile it. If you receive error messages post them in this thread and I will take another look.

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Okay, can you post a screenshot of the first couple of code lines in your editor? Make sure you include line 9 in your screenshot (so something like the first 20-30 lines would be fine).
Edit: Error 301 points to a missing '=', ';', or '('.
when you create a new study TS asks if it should already populate the code with some default lines. You can get rid of these, in fact these are the lines creating the error and you need to delete them.
When you create a new study either select "None" under "Select Template" or delete everything TS comes up with. Only then paste your code into the new study.
Sharing a workspace will not solve the problem as there is no EasyLanguage code included with a workspace, only the information needed to load the Analysis Technique(s) from the library and any customized settings (Inputs, Style, Strategy $$ fields).
Also, I have not absolutely confirmed this, and it might have changed over versions, but I once found that if you opened a workspace sent to you before saving it in the TradeStation MyWork folder then the default location it would look next time you tried to open a workspace was that source folder.
To be safe I always save ("Save as") the workspace into the MyWork folder under TradeStation. Then import the accompanying ELA / ELS / ELD file. Then open the WorkSpace.
