I should be given a trophy for outstanding trading performance this week... I've accomplished the incredible feat of generating a loss with a long position this week! Not many can copy that... lol
You should pay attention, if these "opposite trades" lead to better results
Taking these mistakes with humor instead of endless anger and frustration is definitely a faster way to get back on track.
I have a habit of getting off-track after huge wins. But before, this led to large losses which even overcompensated my huge win. I guess, I have improved in this regard. Maybe I should build into my excel journal an automatic "screw up" alert after x% gain on my equity.
Will possibly not be able to post my exit in or close to real-time due to a business trip today. Orders are placed though. Will probably return towards cash close.
@ratfink: As you can see in my trade summary, I've included now the automatic "screw up alert" in my excel journal That means, that I have to watch out next week not to screw up, i.e. be too timid to give away profits or have any bias which deviates from the optimal trading mindset/behavior. Let's see, if it works...
