All that doesn't matter (I've done all the things suggested), it's the indicators that cause it to slow down, specifically Mgannswing. Mhistogram not as bad.
If you notice, it's during the very volatile times of the market that your charts will lag when you have those indicators on. Try taking them off and seeing how it doesn't lag say for example at NY open or right before FOMC news and then you will realize it's not your computer or internet connection etc.
I've been using the software for about a year.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Actually, people discovered the fix for Ninja slow down and that is because the CPU cores are not being used optimally. This has been shared in the trading room to improve Ninja performance. It is not the fault of MBoxWave. MBoxWave reads tick data to get delta. All indicators that read tick data use more CPU than indicators that don't. Just load Ninja's "Order Flow Cumulative Delta" and you will see that as well. People with up to date computers do not typically have any issues, and as you can see even many people replying to this thread do not have any performance issues. People using older computers might because Ninja has a recommended specification that not all traders are fulfilling. So before blaming the software, check your PC. And if you are using a laptop, disable battery saver and make sure you have your laptop in performance mode. A lot of people don't know about these things, but they do impact performance. Lastly, Mike does have a performance tuning guide for Ninja that seems to help a lot of people.
In any case, try the UnPark CPU and you can report how it helps. A lot of users reported this speeds up Ninja significantly.
Want to rectify some earlier post of mine where I complained of MboxWave slowing down my NT8. For a couple of reasons I did a total uninstall of NT8 and downloaded a fresh version.
Am slowly re-populating that with very very few indicators, downloaded fresh from vendors and FIO sources. Anyway, round about way of getting to the fact that MBOX (after a fresh download of that indy package) is now fast, does not slow down my charts and is very responsive.
I have an older i7 with SSD's + older 32 ram.....towards top of the range in 2015. NT8
Mbox works well on that older tech. This is not a promo for the vendor, just a rectification of an earlier complaint I made.
When I do the "homework" / pre-analysis... my directional bias is mostly spot on but my biggest problem has been the entries. I would jump in too early just to get stop out and then the darn price to turn around go in the direction you thought it would originally. Everyone will tell you, "go with the flow", "ride the wave"... yes, but that is easier said than done. The real question is when does that flow/wave start and end so you can jump in. Frustrated, I benched myself and started practicing with the Mbox Indicators has helped me with this. Mike, the creator of MBoxWave indicators, has plenty of instructional and live video example for you to follow along and study how to use his indicators. As you can see from my screenshot from today's chart, if you take some time, like anything else, and study it, the waves might start getting clearer and clearer. So yes, I will totally recommend the MBoxWave indicators and dare I say, get the grandfather package. That way if you do have to step away for a while, you don't have to worry about paying again for upgrades.
@AndreaP: Please only post in English in this part of the forum.
Thank you.

We're obviously being spammed by a campaign to put up favorable "reviews" of MBOXX, possibly directed by the vendor himself.
Everyone is welcome to post genuine accounts of their actual experiences with a vendor, positive or negative, but we will delete obvious spam, which is not to the benefit of anyone except the vendor or the spammer.
I am deleting nine nearly-identical, highly favorable "reviews" in this thread, plus one that was posted as a wiki article, all put up between the hours of 2:04 AM and 4:25 AM, US Eastern time, so these were a wave from Asian and European traders. If there is another wave during US trading hours, they will be deleted also.
Many of these posts were the first posts made by the member, or, in one case, the person first made enough quick posts today to boost their post count up to be eligible to post in a review thread, and then made the MBOXX one, which was clearly the objective all along.
If someone is going to give a real review, it will be welcome. But coordinated assaults on the forum for the purpose of boosting a vendor's online reviews are a misuse of the membership and will not be allowed.

With all due respect and integrity on this forum, these are honest reviews in my opinion and from what I have observed being a member of the MBox discord room. Mike has a discord channel with several hundred members and has encouraged people to write reviews about the indicators and share it online either on this forum or in twitter. It just shows how good the software is. Mike continues to improve it and has unsurpassed vendor support. Perhaps that is why there is a lot of positive reviews. Considering the amount of overall MBoxWave users, which surpasses 1000 (according to Mike's data), getting 20 or more reviews on this forum would not be difficult at all.
I don't doubt that there are satisfied users of this software. There always are, and I can make no judgment on the software either way, nor am I.
But 9 sudden reviews, from first-time posters or very infrequent posters, all in a 2-hour period, clearly do not represent people just being spontaneously motivated, on the spur of the moment, to write very similar reviews.
We do see similar coordinated promotional campaigns from time to time, and we will respond to them.
Over time, the vendors with good products will always rise to the top, and if this vendor's product is a good one, he will have no cause for concern.
But it stretches credibility that this surge of reviews was just a spontaneous outpouring. A campaign to spam the forum with reviews is still vendor promotion, and the intended result is simply to promote the vendor, and vendor promotion is still not something this forum is meant for.
