The light theme is much improved, at least for me. The major issue I had was that it was so bright (and low-contrast) that it made my eyes tired, which is not the case any more. I can see actually using it now.
I will try to go through the list of fixes Mike posted, and will do some more testing later.
One thing to bring up again is the effect of using an ad blocker on the size of the logo in the page header. We discovered the other day that with no ad blocker, the "nexusfi" logo expands to more than half the width of the page and also grows vertically in height, but it's fine with the blocker off. (I tested it just now and the logo still expands with the ad blocker off.)
I can appreciate the case for not using the ad blocker (ad revenue for the site), but I think this is still a mistake in the design. I think the size of the logo should not change by expanding to fill in the space that would contain the missing ad. It should just be whatever it is, and should not depend on whether a user has a blocker on or not. People are going to use them, and new people are going to come into the site, and get their first impression from how it looks. The page should look professional no matter what, and that huge logo does not look right.
Bob.

When adding a new entry in the download section, i noticed the button label for the upload file ad Image upload is in my language but the width of the button is not large enough to accomodate different languages.
Also, when we upload a file, the name of the file does not show beside the button so we are not sure if the file has been selected. The upload works but there is no feedback after having selected the file.
The padded area around the page numbers is not clickable but it should be
This has a bigger impact on threads with pages in the single-digit (double-digit pages and above are easier to click because there's a larger area on which your mouse can hover).
This should be an easy fix. Just make the padded area clickable.
