As there are lots of old buildings around, many people have rent a grinding machine to refurbish the old wooden parquet in their appartments.
How would you put this word in English or French? Would it be easier?
Masters of Non-Communication
Priest and lawyers are those who have always tried to dissimulate the meaning of words. The use of the Latin language for the bible, and of course the continued use of Arab language for the Qur'an have the main purpose to hide the meaning of the words from the general public. Hence the priests keep the monopoly of the interpretation of the holy messages.
The same approach is used by lawyers. This explains that the most cumbersome words in German language have all been created by lawyers. Here are a few samples:
but as you see they cannot compete with the monster words created by lawyers. More interesting, there is even one word that has 25 different letters and does not repeat a single one!
I'm sure If you know a bit of German you could make out what the different components of the word mean despite the lack of spaces. It would probably be difficult to remember the correct order or how to join them. Reading is a lot easier than writing.
